The Gathering

Welcome.

The Gathering is a space for self-care. We meet, virtually, every month and explore a different theme together. 

Everyone is welcome, although it will be written with a focus on tending to yourself as a parent when your focus is often pulled elsewhere. This is intended to be a moment of self enquiry. Letting everything else fall away for an hour and focusing on what is happening for you. 

The sessions are warm and welcoming and the aim will always be relaxation, connection and space to listen to your own intuition. 


Life, for many of us, can at times feel really busy, loud, pressured and stressful. These Gatherings are about having the space to connect to ground and to slow down. We’ll find ways to be present, connect to the seasons, our felt experiences and listen to our inner knowing. 

We will open with an invitation to get cosy, gathering blankets, candles, cushions and layers. There will be a short guided meditation written for that month’s theme. We will have some journal prompts around that theme, a ritual for the month and time to talk at the end. 

It is an open session, children are very welcome to join us. You are also welcome to drop in and out depending on whatever is happening at home that day and if you are able to find the full hour.

The Gathering Course

  • Week One: Stories

    The stories we are carrying about how things ‘should’ be. How our bodies are ‘meant’ to feel, do or be. Stories we might be carrying both consciously and subconsciously. An invitation to let some unhelpful ones go and to replace them with something kinder and more compassionate.

  • Week Two: Safety

    Feeling at home and safe in our bodies is important. This week will be about deep relaxation. Noticing where you might be carrying tension or tightness in your body. Exploring the rest that is most restful for you.

  • Week Three: SEX

    Finding our way back to sexual connection after birth. Whether that's alone or with a partner. This final week is about pleasure and enjoying your body. Honouring yourself and what makes you feel really, really good.
